"I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now" (Philippians 1:3-5)

The word "partnership" appears repeatidly in the New Testament and is a fundamental key to the health and world-wide growth of the Christian Church.    In most modern Bible translations, the word usually appears in English as "fellowship".  However, whether you translate it "fellowship" or "partnership", either way, it still has the same meaning: "Close association, mutual participation, contributory help, unity"

There is a difference between "church membership" and "ministry partnership".  Membership is granted by God alone and not by man.  When a person puts their faith in Jesus Christ as Savior & LORD, they become a "member" of His church (see Ephesians 2:19-22 & Acts 2:47).  However, when a member of the church is in agreement with our mission and vision and wants to participate, contribute and help us accomplish what God has called us to do- they shall then become a "Ministry Partner".

We believe that Ministry Partnership is the primary key to accomplishing our Mission and fulfilling our Vision!  Ephesians 4:16- "The whole body (church) is fitly joined together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working in which every part does it's share, which causes growth to the body (church) for the edifying of itself in love". 

In other words- the only way Living Word Church can do what God has called us to do and be what He has called us to be is if we have Ministry Partners who have comitted to use thier God-given gifts, abilities and resources to do their part in helping us do the work of ministry (see Romans 12:4-13 & Ephesians 4:11-16).
